If you forgot your passcode, Apple suggests resetting the device to factory settings. Here's one way you can do that. IMPORTANT: This program essentially restores your device back to factory settings, removing any data in the process. It's important to keep in mind that this is NOT a method to skip the activation. If you've enabled Find My, you will need to know your credentials to be able to activate the device after the factory reset is complete, so you can only use this on your own device.
