Why to use iTunes to backup your device when you have BackupAZ3 in your pocket ? This application can save all these data (at the moment):
- Installed Cydia / Sileo / Zebra / Installer Packages
- Deb of your installed tweaks !
- Cydia sources
- Sileo sources
- Zebra sources
- Installer preferences
- Tweaks and Apple Applications preferences
- Accounts
- Calendar events
- Call History
- Address book
- Health data
- iBooks library
- Mails
- Messages and iMessages
- Notes
- Photos and Videos
- Safari Bookmarks
- SpringBoard settings
- Voice memos
- Voicemails
And restore them !
The action related to the All in One button Preference can be long, depending on the size taken by the backup(s) !
BackupAZ3 store backups data under iTunes Safeguard location, but by security, I would advise you to backup these data on your PC (they are in /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/BackupAZ3). If you want to restore your backups after you've copied them onto your PC, replace BackupAZ3 folder under same path, this is very important !
You can also upload your backups to Dropbox and Box directly from the app ! And that’s not all, you can also retrieve them directly from the app ;).
NOTE: Some apps require a reboot (Phone app for Voicemails and Call history, for example). For this, simply use the button in the alert after a restoration. You can also use the reboot button in the « Options » pages.
NOTE 2: Some tweaks can't be reinstalled from a backup due to the repo requiring the user to be authenticated. There is no workaround for that beside looking at the package list backup and reinstalling them manually
BackupAZ3 also allow you to preview the files that will be saved / restored for a better comprehension of what will be done !
