Tweak Full Description
Replace Siri with ChatGPT or Gemini
SiriPlus is a tweak that replaces Siri with ChatGPT or Gemini, providing users with enhanced functionality, broad knowledge and personalized assistance by the most powerful Large Language Models.
Getting started
- SiriPlus includes a managed mode that allows you to start right away
- It also allows you to use your own API key if supported in your region which brings a few advantages:
- Faster response times as your device directly connects to the ChatGPT/Gemini API
- Use an AI of your choice (managed users can only use Gemini)
- Detailed instructions for obtaining an API key for either LLM can be found in the tweak's settings.
Features
Apart from just chatting with the AI, SiriPlus allows the AI to directly interact with your device:
- Open Apps: Open your favourite applications.
- Draft Emails: Let SiriPlus write your Emails.
- List System Info: Retrieve essential device information.
- Add Calendar Entries: Quickly schedule appointments and events.
- Search Contacts¹: Let SiriPlus search your contacts (useful for phone calls).
- Initiate Phone Calls: Make calls hands-free by instructing SiriPlus to dial for you.
- Open Maps with Destination: Instantly get directions by commanding SiriPlus to open maps with your desired destination.
All of these features are optional. You can opt-in in the Preferences.
¹ To protect your privacy SiriPlus will filter the contacts on-device and only send relevant information to the AI model.
Privacy and Security
While the tweak itself does not collect any data, it interacts with third-party APIs such as OpenAI and Google AI, which may have their own privacy policies governing data usage. Users are encouraged to review the privacy policies of these services to understand how their data is handled.
