What is Unc0ver Jailbreak?
Unc0ver Jailbreak is a jailbreak tool developed by @Pwn20wnd and @SamBingner which is compatible with iOS 11.0 all the way up to iOS 14.8. The jailbreak comes with the Cydia package manager by default, but the user can install Zebra, Installer 5, or other package managers after the jailbreak has been completed.
Unc0ver jailbreak used to be fully open-source but nowadays the source code is a closely guarded secret. Update schedules are not publicly available and the Unc0ver Team usually pushes new updates out of the blue.
The Unc0ver Team works closely with security researchers in the community to get access to kernel exploits in order to update Unc0ver further.

How to install Unc0ver jailbreak
To install Unc0ver jailbreak, download the IPA file from the table above or from the official website, then sideload it to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch using the sideloading tool of your choice.
Once installed, open the Unc0ver application and press the blue button that says “Jailbreak”. If Unc0ver says “Unsupported” it means your device or iOS version is not currently supported. Please check the above if your device and iOS version are supported.
Method #1: Install Unc0ver using Sideloadly
Sideloadly works on both Windows and macOS and can be used to install the Unc0ver jailbreak IPA file to your phone. Please follow the instructions below to jailbreak with Unc0ver:
- Download Sideloadly from here.
- Download the Unc0ver IPA file from the website or from the table above. Use the latest IPA.
- Plug your device in with the USB cable. Make sure it’s trusted on the PC.
- Open Sideloadly then drag & drop the Unc0ver IPA into the Sideloadly window.
- Input your Apple ID & Password when asked (it’s sent to Apple and only used for signing, you can use a throwaway).
- Once installation says “Done” you can disconnect the phone and open Unc0ver App. You may need to trust your Apple ID first in Settings.
- Open Unc0ver and press JAILBREAK. A reboot will take place.
- Open Unc0ver and press JAILBREAK again. Now you should have Cydia.
Method #2: Install Unc0ver using AppValley Without Computer
AppValley works for installing Unc0ver Jailbreak without a computer, but may not always be signed because Apple keeps revoking their certificates for obvious reasons. If you manage to find them signed, follow the steps below to install Unc0ver without PC.
- Navigate to AppValley.
- Search for Unc0ver. Make sure the latest version is available.
- Press GET and confirm you want to install it when asked.
- If AppValley is signed, the app will begin to install.
- Once finished, open Unc0ver and press the JAILBREAK button. A reboot will take place.
- Open Unc0ver and press JAILBREAK again. Now you should have Cydia.
