As many of you are aware, back in October 2022, security researcher Linus Henze released their Fugu15 jailbreak project for iOS 15.0 up to iOS 15.4.1 on A12+ devices.
This jailbreak works on iPhone XS, XR, XS Max, and newer, including iPhone 13. According to Linus Henze, Fugu15 comes open-source and includes a code-signing bypass, kernel exploit, kernel PAC bypass, and PPL bypass.
Fugu15 can also be installed directly from Safari, which means no computer is needed at all in order to deploy the jailbreak. The first time this kind of jailbreak gets released in many years.
In other words, Linus Henze has offered the community free of charge a fully working jailbreak foundation, just add tweak injection and fix a few bugs.
Does Fugu15 support tweaks?
While Fugu15 doesn’t come with a tweak injection library by default, Fugu15 Max by @opa334 will support tweaks! In Fugu15 Max opa334 will add ElleKit by @eveIyneee. They have announced a few days ago that they’ve successfully gotten tweaks to run on iOS 15.4.1 and lower with Fugu15.
ElleKit is still in development, but when it releases it will power the tweaking on Fugu15 thus giving us a powerful iOS 15.0 – 15.4.1 Jailbreak installable directly via Safari without a computer.

What devices will Fugu15 Max Jailbreak support?
Since Fugu15 Max is basically a fork of Fugu15 by Linus Henze, it will support the same devices supported by its parent tool. These devices are the A12+ ones, so if you’re using an iPhone X or older device, yours will not be supported.
Here’s the full list of all supported devices:
- iPhone 13 (All variants)
- iPhone 12 (All variants)
- iPhone 11 (All variants)
- iPhone XS / XS Max
- iPhone XR
- iPhone SE 2022
- iPhone SE 2020
- All A12+ iPads.
Is the WiFi bug fixed on Fugu15?
One of the biggest issues with Fugu15 was the WiFi bug. According to Linus Henze, due to this bug, WiFi cannot be used at all with Fugu15. This is fixable, but Linus did not fix it before releasing it, so it was left to us to fix.
A couple of days ago developer opa334, the dev behind Fugu15 Max announced that the WiFi bug is now FIXED on Fugu15. The fix was pushed open-source on GitHub, so the bug is now old and dusted.

Procursus Bootstrap and Sileo
Fugu15 Max comes with the Sileo package manager which is a fast and modern-looking package manager that replaces the now-defunct Cydia.
While very popular for many years, Cydia has stopped working entirely on iOS 15 because of major changes in how root is obtained, and so on. Fixing it is extremely hard and it appears nobody bothered as by now we have many much better alternatives with many more features.
By now Cydia’s only value compared to Sileo or Zebra is just the nostalgic one.
Fugu15 Max also comes with the Procursus Bootstrap which is a modern and well-maintained bootstrap developed primarily by Diatrus and by now The Procursus Team.
Fugu15 Max Download IPA
UPDATE: Fugu15 Max Public Beta IPAs are now available to download. Head over to our Fugu15 Max IPA Download Page to grab it!
Since Fugu15 Max Jailbreak is currently in development, there is no IPA available to download. If you want to, you may compile it yourself from the source code. Building Fugu15 Max requires multiple Tools which can be found in the Tools
directory. Building them is entirely optional because I’ve already compiled them. If you want to build them yourself, simply run make
in the Tools
directory.
Once an IPA file will be available, we will list it here as well as on our iOS Jailbreak Downloads page which contains all available iOS Jailbreaks.
HERE’S A LIST WITH TWEAKS CONFIRMED WORKING ON FUGU15 MAX!
Final thoughts
Fugu15 was available for a while as an open-source project but it was not very useful for the general public. Now, developer @opa334 has taken the project and is building Fugu15 MAX, a real user–ready jailbreak with tweaks. The wait will soon be over for iOS 15.0 – 15.4.1 on modern devices.
