YouTube is slowly rolling out the new Multiview system on the YouTube for iOS application. Using this brand new feature you can watch up to 4 different games at once on the same screen on your iPhone and iPad.

According to Google, the feature is rolling out over the next few months, and according to a TeamYouTube account on Reddit, you need at least version 8.11 for multiview support.

For now, the feature is limited to sports events, only available in the United States, and not all people seem to have access to it just yet.

YouTube TV comes with unlimited Cloud DVR storage so you can record your favorite games and watch them later.

How to use YouTube TV Multiview on iOS

If you are one of the lucky people to have access to this feature so early in the rollout, here’s how you can use it to watch up to 4 different sporting events simultaneously on your iOS device:

1. Open the YouTube TV application on your Home Screen.
2. On the YouTube Home Page, click on the “Sports” pill button, or scroll down to the Sports section.
3. On this page, you can see at a glance which sporting events are currently being streamed. You can also see a list of teams and leagues. You can also click the LIVE tab.
4. Tune in to any Live game and then tap the “Multiview” option. After this, click “Build a Multiview“.

Do keep in mind that due to the hardware limitations of most devices, the actual multiview feed is offloaded to Google’s servers which means you can’t build your own multiview combos and you have to choose between predefined ones based on what is currently live in your location.
