Yes, in some countries that may not be legal, however, many countries across the globe allow you to record your calls as long as at least one party consents to the recording.

Still, AudioRecorder XS has you covered as there’s an option to automatically send a warning message to the other party that the call is being recorded. AudioRecorder XS is the very first iOS call recorder tweak.

This way you can comply with the law while also having a record of your important conversations.

This tweak has a wide range of compatibility working from iOS 12 all the way up to iOS 17 and it’s essentially all you need to record high-definition audio of your conversations.

Installing AudioRecorder XS is pretty simple, it installs like any other jailbreak tweak and once installed, it creates a new Preference Panel in Settings so you can customize all its settings in one place.

With AudioRecorderXS you can also record the audio from Video Calls, as well as any sound coming from the device (Websites playing music, audio, etc.).

How to install AudioRecorder XS Tweak

Since this is a jailbreak tweak, you can install it like any other tweak. The tweak was developed by Limneos and it’s available on their official repo.

Please add the repo to your favorite package manager (Sileo, Zebra, Installer 5, etc.).

Here’s how you can add this Repo in Sileo Package Manager:

1. Open Sileo from your Home Screen
2. Navigate to Sources
3. Tap The + icon on the top-right corner.
4. Paste or type the repo URL in the alert that appears.
5. Tap Add Source.
6. Sileo will refresh repos and your new repo should be on the list now.

For Zebra and Installer 5, the procedure is very similar.

The tweak costs $3.99 and it is exclusively available on Limneos’s Repo. Avoid counterfeit DEB packages of the tweak.

What settings are available in AudioRecorder XS?

Once installed, AudioRecorder XS creates a new Settings page in your Settings App. From this page, you can configure the whole tweak.

AudioRecorder XS supports the latest jailbreak tools

With the release of AudioRecorder XS 5.0, support for the latest jailbreaks for iOS 15 and iOS 16 has been added.

This means that you can now install AudioRecorder XS on Palera1n Jailbreak, XinaA15 Jailbreak as well as Dopamine Jailbreak on iOS 15.0 – 17 thanks to the rootless version which works on these jailbreaks.

Since PaleRa1n officially supports iOS 17 too, the tweak was updated and works on iOS 17.0 – 17.3.1 without any difficulty.
