Today, the flow of information can be overwhelming and intense. Numerous tasks, meetings, calls, and plans can confuse you and make it easy to forget things. Fortunately, technology offers many solutions to this situation.
Here are 5 applications that I believe would help enhance your mobile experience and make daily tasks easier.
1. Evernote
One of the most commonly recommended apps is Evernote. It was one of the first of its kind and has gained popularity due to its wide functionality. With the emergence of numerous free alternatives, it has lost some popularity, but not its usefulness – it is still considered one of the best.
Evernote is a comprehensive note-taking app that can help boost productivity by allowing you to create, edit, organize, and store digital notes, synchronizing them across all your devices. It’s available for both Android and iOS.
But it’s much more than just a note-taker. Evernote offers many features, including capturing and storing tasks, images, sketches, attachments, and audio. You can also organize all your notes, tasks, and captures into custom notebooks.
Although Evernote is a free note-taking app, you can upgrade to a paid Personal or Professional plan that will expand the amount of storage, the size of notes, and many other features.
2. Taskito – To-Do list and reminders
It’s a mix of a calendar and a planner with a very handy desktop widget, Ukrainian translation, and a minimalist, uncluttered interface.
The app allows you to display your tasks on your desktop in chronological order (the Timeline tab) with color-coded tags that make it much easier to keep track of tasks.
You can also add notes and tasks without a specific date.
Other features include multi-level lists, the ability to split tasks into projects, import templates, reminders at specific times, and more.
Be sure to schedule time for yourself, because it is very important to rest. Switch your attention from work to entertainment. You can browse social media, watch videos on TikTok, or play slots in online casinos. Visit RichardCasino and you will be impressed by their collection of online games.
3. Cloud Apps – Keep your iPhone Storage Free
Choose any cloud storage you like. It can be Microsoft’s OneDrive, Dropbox, Apple’s iCloud, Google Drive, or any other. All of them provide a certain amount – usually 5-10 gigabytes – of free storage space for your files.
In addition, today many of these services offer huge amounts of storage at the start to attract more users. For example, the Singaporean service PikPak Cloud can offer you up to 10 terabytes of space.
What does the cloud offer? There are many advantages, apart from the fact that you usually get a subscription to all other services of the companies.
You can store all your files in the cloud without fear that a hacked computer will lead to their loss.
You can share them using a link that you generate for a specific file or an entire folder and send to the person you are talking to. The other person can download your files or send you theirs to your folder in the vault.
You can create text files, spreadsheets, or presentations right in the cloud without fear that a power outage will erase all the data you’ve entered – the cloud saves information automatically as you type.
Depending on the company, cloud services offer many of their own individual features, such as a separate “safe” for storing particularly valuable files under a separate password.
Subscriptions to larger storage volumes can be expensive at times. But a family subscription, which can be shared with other people, saves the day.
4. DeepL – a translator that will amaze you
DeepL is the German equivalent of Google Translate, built on the basis of artificial intelligence. In terms of translation quality, it has no equal today. What is very important is that it works with the Ukrainian language and does it very well.
Why is it on this list? With it, you will forget about clarifying certain words and phrases. Where Google comes up with complete nonsense, DeepL demonstrates an understanding of the context, produces well-formulated sentences, and even puts punctuation marks.
A huge advantage of DeepL is that it has a browser extension that allows you to select the text you want in a foreign language, click the button that appears next to it, and easily translate it.
In addition, in some cases, you can translate from one language to another right in the message input window: just type or paste the text into the field, click the button that appears in the lower right corner, and enjoy the quick result.
The app also has a photo feature (translates text to a photo), voice input, and translation of an uploaded file. You can check out DeepL here.
5. Google Lens
This application, which is often built into the camera of Android smartphones, can help in many situations.
If you’re a fan of Google Lens, you have another way to access the feature on iOS, as it’s now included in the Google Search app on the iPhone. First of all, it allows you to work both by uploading ready-made photos or images and by taking your own in the process.
By choosing the second option, you can point the camera at an object to find it online. For example, if you don’t know what kind of plant or animal is in front of you, you can point the lens, click on search, and you’re done. You can search for products, different objects, and much more in the same way.
You can also point the camera at the text, take a photo of it, and then either manually select what you want directly in the photo or use the Select All or Listen button. After selecting the text, you can copy it for another app, listen to it, translate it into another language, search for it, or send it to your computer.
Other interesting features of the service include homework help, shopping, and finding interesting places and restaurants.
Although the app already has a fairly wide range of applications, the company promises to improve it with the help of artificial intelligence in the near future. Well, when it comes to shooting your own creation, time may become a crucial factor. Dont worry! Now, editing video in minutes is possible!
